Q: Where can I buy Conairphone™ products?

A: Conairphone™ products can be purchased at many national retailers including Kmart, Target, Sears, Rite Aid, Eckerd, and CVS, plus numerous regional retailers including Lowes, Ames, Bradlees, Meijer and Shopko. In addition, select the SHOP ONLINE icon to purchase through our secure webstore, or call toll-free 1-888-999-2804.

Note: Product assortment will vary depending on retailer.

Q: What is the purpose of the Flash Function?
A: The Flash key can be used after ending a call to retrieve a new dial tone without returning the handset to the base. It is also used for special telephone services such as call waiting and three party calling. Press the Flash key briefly and then perform the custom call procedure.

Q: If my phone is hearing-aid compatible, what does that mean?
A: The FCC requires that all telephones must be compatible with inductively coupled hearing aids. So, what does that mean? Well, hearing aids have a few ways that they can produce sound. One way is for the hearing aid to couple itself to the magnetic field of the telephone receiver. The FCC mandates that all telephone receivers contain an element capable of producing that magnetic field. All of our products contain this element and are, therefore, hearing-aid compatible.

Q: I am setting up a small office in my home. What products does Conairphone™ offer to fit my business needs and to match my home décor?
A: Conairphone™ offers a variety of products with the home office user in mind. We have a two-line telephone (model SW1212BK) so that you can join your fax/modem line and your voice line*. In addition, browse our website for our single-line speakerphones (models SW6400, SW320, CID200, CID300 and CM200), feature phones and various answering systems.

* You must subscribe for two separate telephone lines with your local telephone company to enjoy these services. Two-line telephone products are not capable of "splitting" a single telephone line for dual usage.

Q: Is there any need for a corded telephone when I already have a cordless in my home?
A: It is very important to have a corded telephone in your home. If you experience a power failure or a lightning strike, you will be unable to use AC-operated products, i.e, cordless telephones. In addition, if your cordless battery loses its charge or if you experience static while speaking on your cordless, you can switch to your corded telephone and continue your conversation, virtually uninterrupted!
